Cross section of the tank will be elliptical and will be manufactured from 4mm thick steel plates. Front and rear ends will be dished and welded both from inside and outside continuously. There are baffle plates inside the tank made from 4mm thickness steel plates with reinforcements. There are a 500mm diameter manhole on the tank with rubber sealing and a 2 ½" overflow and breathing pipe in the tank with opening at the bottom. There are a level gauge made from transparent tube, an access ladder to top of the tank at the rear , storage lockers on sides for suction -delivery hoses. There is a full length subframe under the tank which will be mounted on the chassis with elastic fixing elements.
PUMP AND POWER TRANSMISSION
There is a single stage centrifugal pump powered by pto by means of cardan shaft and v-belt and pulley. Pump will have cast iron body, stainless steel shaft and bronze fan. Pump has the capacity 8bar-800 lts/min with 65mm suction and 50mm delivery ports giving water to front street washing bar, discharging delivery line and hose reel.
Tank can be filled by gravitational flow from the manhole on the tank and can be discharged by gravitational flow or forced flow using centrifugal pump.
There is a 2.5m wide street washing bar with jet nozzles in front of the vehicle, water delivered to it is controlled from the cab by means of pneumatically actuated ball valve. There will be a hose reel with 1"- 20m hose and branch pipe.
There will be discharging delivery port on the water pump for forced Discharging.
