Inorganic Silicon-zinc Rich Anticorrosion Coatings
This product is a kind of ultra high efficiency anticorrosion coatings

Design Usage

Designed for water treating system, environmental protection, metallurgy, chemical industry, mechanics, marine, bridge and pipes for transferring oil, gas and water.

Excellent resistant property (i.e. humidity, salt fog, mildew resistance), inoxidizability and anticorrosion property. 7081 has excellent resistance to crude oil, lubricating oil, gasoline and diesel oil without influencing quality of the oil. Good resistance to salt fog, sudden change of temperature and instantaneous high temperature (450°C).

The film has cathodic protection, not harmful to welding property.

This coating system is applicable to high temperature (<450°C) inoxidization protection of steel structure.

This kind of product is room temperature self dried, applicable to plants without baking facility and steel structure on site.

Not applicable to acid, alkali and water dipping environment, as well as non ferrous metal.

Thereinto,

Shanli 7081: gray primer, non-solvent type, 2K package

Shanli 7082: gray primer, alkyd solvent type, 2K package

Basic Data

Min. dosage:             0.14-0.18kg/m2/layer

                        Insufficient to form effective system. The film thickness is adjustable while it will influence dosage and drying.

Theoretical dosage:       0.20-0.24kg/m2

Recommended DFT:       45μm×2

Theoretical coverage:       about 4.5m2/kg/layer (10m2/L/layer)

                        It is necessary to consider proper loss factor.

Tack-free time:            ≤0.5h

Recoat interval:          Min. 24h

Curing time:            24h-7d

                        Curing depends on temperature, humidity and film thickness. If the thickness is about 45μm×2, the curing period will shorten along with the increasing of temperature and humidity, and extend along with the decreasing of temperature and humidity.

Flash point:             7081: N/A; 7082: ≥23°C

Storage stability:         Min. 6 months sealed in cool and dry place

                        After 6 months, quality check is necessary before use. Longer storage time would influence application performance.

                        Far away from heat resource, fire resource and strong oxidizer.

Color and appearance:     Accord to standard or key color, color deviation within acceptable limits, and film is flat.

Viscosity (-4 cup)/s:       ≥15

Drying time/h:           touch dry≤1, hard dry≤24

4 Chemical performances:   Water resistance: 96h

Boiling water resistance: 96h

                        Salt water (3%) resistance: 96h

                        Lubricating oil resistance: 96h

                        No blistering, no cracking-off (complex layers)

Heat resistance (450°C):    100h, no blistering, no cracking-off, slight color changing (primer + top coat complex layers)

 

Surface Treating       

All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and unpolluted (free of vapor, dust, oil and rusted chips) and accord to GB8923 (Requirements: reach Sa2.5 or St3, cleanness 95%, surface roughness 40-70 µm. After surface treating and prior to coating 7081 or 7082 primer, the steel should be re-derusted if being oxidized to reach regulated visual standard. The surface temperature should be 3 °C higher than dew point to prevent vapor condensation.).

Prevent contacting the coating surface with naked hand.

Re-derust the weld joint and damaged area and clean pre-coat and polluted area by fresh water, reaching regulated visual standard.

Generally, 7081 and 7082 are not allowed to be applied on original coating to prevent influencing on film quality.
